Jamar Rogers is an accomplished American singer, songwriter, and musician who gained national recognition after competing in two of the most popular reality singing competitions in the United States, American Idol and The Voice. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States, on March 1, 1982.
Rogers grew up in a musically-inclined family and began honing his craft at a young age. In 2008, he auditioned for the eighth season of American Idol, making it to the Hollywood round before being eliminated. Rogers returned to the spotlight in 2012, this time on The Voice, where he made it to the top 8 under the mentorship of CeeLo Green.
Aside from his reality TV stints, Rogers has also made a name for himself in the music industry, releasing several albums and singles over the years. His music blends elements of soul, rock, and pop, showcasing his dynamic vocal range and impressive songwriting skills.
