James Denton is an American actor and musician, born as James Thomas Denton, Jr. on January 20, 1963, in Nashville, Tennessee. He is best known for playing Mike Delfino on the popular TV series Desperate Housewives alongside Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman. He is also known for playing Dr. Sam Radford on the comedy-drama series Good Witch. James graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He debuted in theatre as George Gibbs in a production of Our Town in Nashville and played numerous theatre roles in North Carolina, Chicago, and California. He has appeared in several films, including Face/Off, Beautiful Dreamer, All-Star Superman, Dancer, and the Dame. He also had recurring roles in The Pretender, JAG, Reba. James is also a singer and guitarist of The Band From TV, previously known as 16:9.
