James Morrison Catchpole, known as James Morrison, is an English singer, musician, songwriter, and producer who performs pop-rock music. He was born in Rugby, Warwickshire, England, on August 13, 1984. James began his music career in 2006 with the release of his hit debut single You Give Me Something which reached the top ten on numerous national music charts, and later that year he released his debut studio project Undiscovered to critical and commercial success. His discography includes the hit singles Broken Strings, I Won’t Let You Go, You Make It Real, Too Late For Lullabies, and the albums Higher Than Here, You're Stronger Than You Know, and Songs for You, Truths for Me. James was featured on the album Do The Duets alongside fellow musical artists Black Eyed Peas, Selena Gomez, Nelly Furtado, Akon, and Carly Rae Jepsen. He won a Brit Award for British Male Solo Artist.
