James Wolk Bio

James Wolk, also known as Jimmy Wolk, is an actor born on March 22, 1985, in Farmington Hills, Michigan, USA. He is an alumnus of the University of Michigan. James starred as Jordan in the 2006 film The Spiral Project. In 2008, he was in Killer in the Family, Front of the Class, and As the World Turns.


James starred in the short films 8 Easy Steps and Forgotten Land. In 2010, he was in the Disney feature film You Again with Kristin Chenoweth, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Sigourney Weaver. He won Drama Guest Actor at the 2013 Gold Derby TV Awards for his role in Mad Men. The role earned him nominations at the 2013 International Online Cinema Awards (INOCA) and the 2014 Satellite Awards.


James portrayed Charlie Hudson in Solving Charlie, directed by Gregory Hoblit. He starred in The Boys in the Boat, Tell Me a Story, The Crazy Ones, and The Stanford Prison Experiment. He has appeared in Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
