Jamie Lee Bio
Jamie Amanda Lee is a comedian, actress, and writer born on March 15, 1983, in Dallas, Texas, USA. She worked as a writer's assistant for Jerry Seinfeld, Tom Papa, Jeff Cesario, and Chuck Martin. She had her career break in 2010 as a semi-finalist on the seventh season of NBC's Last Comic Standing.
Jamie hosted 10 Things on TruTV and the podcast Best of the Worst. The University of Texas alum was selected as a New Face in Just For Laughs at the 2012 Montreal comedy festival. She made Nerve.com's Top Five Comedians Who Should Be Movie Stars and Huffington Post's Top 18 Women You Should Be Following On Twitter.
From 2013 to 2015, Jamie was on the MTV series Girl Code. She has appeared on Chelsea Lately, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central's @Midnight, and MTV's Ridiculousness. Jamie published her book, Weddiculous: An Unfiltered Guide to Being a Bride, in 2016. She won the 2021 and 2022 Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series for Ted Lasso.
