Jannik Sinner Bio

Jannik Sinner is a professional tennis player born in Innichen, Italy, on August 16, 2001. He won his first ATP Challenger title in Bergamo, Italy, in February 2019. The same year, he was named ATP Newcomer of the Year. Jannik is being coached by Simone Vagnozzi and Darren Cahill.


Jannik won the 2019 Intesa Sanpaolo Next Gen ATP Finals title. Jannik has six career titles (singles). He was the youngest quarterfinalist in the 2020 French Open men's singles event since Novak Djokovic. In 2021, he became the first teenager to win an ATP 500 title (Washington) and the first Italian finalist in the ATP Masters 1000 Miami.


Jannik was a quarterfinalist at the 2020 Roland Garros, the 2022 US Open, the 2022 Australian Open, and the 2022 Wimbledon. He launched the Instagram series What's Kept You Moving, where he discusses mental health alongside Filippo Tortu and Bebe Vio. His verified Instagram and Twitter accounts have 714,000 and 104,500 followers, respectively.
