João Vitor Romania Balbino, better known as Jão, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter who performs Latin pop music. He was born in Américo Brasiliense, São Paulo, Brazil, on November 3, 1994. Jão began his music career in 2016 with the release of his debut single Danca pra Mim featuring Pedrowl. He has since become a singular figure in the Brazilian pop scene with sultry vocals and a discography that includes the hit singles Idiota, Imaturo, Coringa, Vou Morrer Sozinho, Essa Eu Pro Nosso Amor, and the albums Pirata, Anti-Heroi, and Lobos. Jão was featured in Luisa Sonza’s album Doce 22 alongside fellow musical artists ^LACK, Pabllo Vitar, Mariah Angeliq, and Lulu Santos.
