Jared Harris is a British actor born in Hammersmith, London, England on August 24, 1961. He is best known for his roles in the television shows Mad Men, Fringe, The Crown, The Expanse, The Terror, and Chernobyl. In 1989 he made his debut in film in the movie The Rachel Papers and continued landing roles in the films, Far and Away, The Public Eye, Natural Born Killers, Smoke, Sunday, Chinese Box, Happiness, Lost in Space, Shadow Magic, Mr. Deeds, Dummy, Lady in the Water, From Within and more. He made his debut on television in 1995 in the show New York Undercover and has since had roles in the shows The Riches, Fringe, Without a Trace, Mad Men, The Crown, The Terror, Carnival Row, The Expanse and others. Harris has also had roles in the theater productions Henry IV Part 1 and Part 2, ’Tis Pity She’s a Whore, Ecstasy, King Lear, More Lies About Jerzy, Hamlet, Humble Boy, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and Period of Adjustment. Throughout his career he has been nominated for a number of awards and has won a Screen Actors Guild Award, an Angel Award, a Behind the Voice Actors Award and more.
