Jarrett Culver is a professional NBA player born on February 20, 1999, in Lubbock, Texas, USA. He was a three-star recruit playing out of Lubbock's Coronado High School. He scored an average of 20 points per game as a junior, leading his team to the 6A regional semifinals.
Phoenix Suns selected him as the 6th overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft. The Suns traded him to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jarrett played over 60 games for the Timberwolves in the 2019/20 season. He played for Texas Tech University, leading the team to the 2019 NCAA Tournament championship game in his second college season.
Jarrett was named to the Consensus second-team All-American and the Big 12 Player of the Year in the 2018/19 season. He led the Big 12 in points (704), field goals (254), field goal attempts (551), and free throw attempts (208). He was part of the First-team All-Big 12.
