Jarrod Spector was born in 1981 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His career started when he was briefly on the show Star Search. He took a break to attend school at Princeton and the Atlantic Theater Conservatory. He made his Broadway debut in Les Miserables in which he played Gavroche. He played Frankie Valli in the Chicago company of Jersey Boys (2008, 2012), in which he both acted and sang. He earned a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his role as Barry Mann in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (2014). He has also starred in other off Broadway shows including Hamlet, Our Country’s Good, and The Vy. He is currently working on the off Broadway production titled Roman Holiday.
