Jason Bradford Priestley is an award-winning Canadian actor, director, and producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on August 28, 1969. Jason began his acting career in 1978 when he appeared in the drama film, Stacey. He continued to receive many acting roles in film and television, but he became a household name in 1990 when he starred in the hit drama series Beverly Hills, 90210 alongside Shannen Doherty, Luke Perry, Jennie Garth, and Tori Spelling. Jason has since been a regular on the TV series Private Eyes, Raising Expectation, Call Me Fitz, Tru Calling, and Side Order of Life. His filmography includes Tombstone, Eye of the Beholder, The Boy Who Could Fly, and Love and Death on Long Island. He won a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Television Performance Male, a Bravo Otto Award for Best Male TV Star, a Canadian Screen Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Continuing Leading Comedic Role, and a Toronto International Film Festival Award for Best Canadian Film.
