JayKode Bio
Jaykode is the stage name of the American DJ and record producer Joey Khodanian. He was born in Los Angeles, California on June 17, 1989. He is best known for his popular songs “Know Better” featuring Mister Blonde and “Origin.” He is also known for pioneering the genre Classical Bass. Jakode started playing the piano classically at 7 years old. By 15 he learned to play the guitar and was experimenting with metal and hardcore. In 2008 he started producing hip-hop and electro beats. Before committing full time to his music career Khodanian worked as an accountant and would make time for making music while working a full time job. He decided to work on music full-time after Skrillex played his unofficial remix of Beyonce’s “Drunk Love” at Coachella in 2014.
