Jaymi William Hensley is a British singer and TV personality born on February 24 1990 in Luton, England to Jackie and David Hensley. He was interested in ballet and gymnastics as a child. Jaymi studied theatre arts at the Sylvia Young Theatre School in Westminster.
He was the founding member of the Triple J band before the group expanded to form the Union J in 2011. The other members are Josh Cuthbert and JJ Hamblett. They participated in the 9th series of The X Factor in 2012 and finished 4th. The band released Union J in 2013 and You Got It All – The Album in 2014, both albums were decently successful. Carry You, Beautiful Life, You Got It All, and Tonight (We Live Forever) feature among their most popular songs.
In 2015 Jaymi appeared on the BBC show Pointless Celebrities with singer Sinitta. He also debuted as Peter Pan at the White Rock Theatre in Hastings in December 2016.
