Jazz Chisholm Bio

Jasrado Prince Hermis Arrington Chisholm Jr., famous as Jazz Chisholm, is a professional MLB player born on February 1, 1998, in Nassau, Bahamas. He made his MLB debut for the Miami Marlins on September 1, 2020, against the Toronto Blue Jays. He has a batting average of .243, 34 home runs, 104 runs batted in, and 36 stolen bases.

The Arizona Diamondbacks signed him on July 5, 2015, at age 17. In 2017, Jazz was part of the Great Britain national baseball team in the World Baseball Classic qualifiers. He was named Diamondbacks Minor League Player of the Year and Midwest League midseason All-Star in 2018. He was coached by Don Mattingly during the 2020 MLB regular season.

Jazz began the 2021 season as MLB.com's number 66 overall and Marlin's number four prospect. In 2021, he became the second Marlins rookie and middle infielder to have 15 home runs and 15 stolen bases in a season after Hanley Ramirez (2006).
