Joshua Scott Chasez, better known as JC Chasez, is an American actor, singer, songwriter, and music producer best known as a member of the musical group *NSYNC. He was born in Bowie, Maryland, United States, on August 8, 1976. JC began his music career in the mid-1980s when he began writing music and performing at small events, but he became famous in 1995 when he formed the boy band NSYNC with Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass. His discography with *NSYNC includes the hit singles Bye Bye Bye, It’s Gonna Be Me, This I Promise You, Tearin’ Up My Heart, and the albums No String Attached, Celebrity, and The Winter Album. JC made his TV debut in 1993 when he was cast in the TV series Emerald Cove, and he has since appeared in the films 21 and a Wakeup, Red Sky, The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story, and A Scooby-Doo Valentine Bouquet.
