Jerdarrian Devontae Davison, widely known as JD Davison, is an NBA player born on October 3, 2002, in Montgomery, Alabama, USA. He attended Calhoun High School and spent his college career with Alabama Crimson Tide (2021–2022). The three-time All-State selection dominated the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic with 35 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists.
JD was the first five-star recruit for Nate Oats. He earned the honor of 2019/20 Gatorade Boys Basketball Player of the Year. He was named the Montgomery Advertiser's Metro Player of the Year (2019 and 2020). ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports rated him as a consensus five-star prospect.
247Sports.com ranked him as the number nine overall player in the nation and the number one point guard. The Boston Celtics selected him as the 53rd overall pick in the 2nd round of the 2022 NBA Draft. The point guard is on a two-way contract with the Maine Celtics of the NBA G League.
