JD McCrary, born Jaydon McCrary, is an American singer, dancer, and actor, who was born on July 18, 2007, in Granada Hills, California. His career as an actor started when he was 8 years old when he played the role of young Ernie in Disney’s “K.C. Undercover”, starring Zendaya, for a total of 2 episodes. He appeared on numerous projects, such as TV series “The Paynes” as Kenny Payne, and he voiced young Simba in 2019’s computer-animated musical drama film “The Lion King”. As a singer, he appeared as a guest on Childish Gambino’s song, titled “Terrified”, performed on TV show “Little Big Shots”, and sang the national anthem before a Los Angeles Clippers game in 2017. He released his first single in 2018, which was titled “Inviting All of You”, and signed with Disney’s Music Group’s Hollywood Records later that year. His first single for the label was titled “Keep in Touch”.
