Jeanette Jenkins (born September 18, 1974 in Canada) is a Fitness guru, celebrity trainer, and author, best known for founding The Hollywood Trainer. She wrote the book titled ‘The Hollywood Trainer Weight-Loss Plan,’ and has trained some A-list celebrities, including Alicia Keys, LL Cool J and Serena Williams. She also created the workout DVD Sexy Abs Cardio Sculpt with pop singer Kelly Rowland.
Jeanette started playing sports at the age of 4. She was influenced by, and looked up to, her older brother who was an athlete himself. Jeanette started working out in the gym when she was 16 years old. This is where she first discovered her interest in fitness. Alongside gym training, Janette also began working as a swimming and aqua fitness instructor and soccer trainer.
She went on to pursue Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa. After six years of working as a fitness trainer in Los Angeles, Jeanette created her first group fitness class. She has since dedicated herself to fitness and non-profit organizations like Right to Play, Keep a Child Alive, and the School on Wheels Organization.
