Jeannie Gaffigan Bio
Jeannie Louise Gaffigan (née Noth) is an actress, producer, and comedy writer from the United States. She is most known for her work on The Jim Gaffigan Comedy as a writer and executive producer, a show partially based on her own family life with her husband, Jim Gaffigan.
Gaffigan began her acting career in rural theater before relocating to New York and performing in sketch comedy groups and tiny theater companies where playwrights wrote unique plays.
Through the presentation of whole Shakespearean plays, Gaffigan launched the non-profit theatrical group, Shakespeare, on the Playground, which is dedicated to teaching reading and production to urban adolescents.
With her friend and eventual husband, Jim Gaffigan, she began writing and producing comedy. Since then, Gaffigan has contributed to the writing and production of all five of Jim's films.
