Jeff Foxworthy was born on September 6, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia. He released his first comedy album You Might Be a Redneck If… (1993), which sold more than three million copies. His other releases were Games Rednecks Play (1995) and Totally Committed (1998). He received a nomination for Best Spoken Comedy Album in 1996, 1999, and 2001.
He starred in his own sitcom The Jeff Foxworthy Show (1995) but it was cancelled after one season. He hosted the show Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader? from 2009 to 2011. He started the Blue Collar Comedy Tour in 2000 and brought Larry the Cable Guy, Ron White, and Bill Engvall on the road. They had 20 shows originally in 2000, and went out again in 2004. He has also authored books like You Might Be a Redneck If..,(1989) and No Shirt, No Shoes, No Problem! (1996), and he also released a cookbook called The Redneck Grill (2005).
