Jeff Gordon Bio
Jeff Gordon, also known as Jeffrey Michael Gordon, is an American sports commentator and former race car driver born in 1971 in Vallejo, California. Gordon began racing professionally in the Busch Series for High Connerty Racing and Bill Davis Racing. In 1993 he started driving for Hendrick Motorsports in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, a role he took until 2015. He won the Sprint Cup in 1995, 1997, 1998, and 2001, and also earned the Daytona 500 three times. In 2016 he became a substitute for Dale Earnhardt Jr. With 93 wins, Gordon holds the third place in all-time Cup wins, a NASCAR record. Gordon was also included in the “50 Greatest Drivers” NASCAR list in 1998. In 2015 he started taking part in the analyst panel for “Fox NASCAR” broadcasts, eventually becoming a full-time analyst for FOX Sports.
