Jeffrey Adam Gutt, better known as Jeff Gutt, is an American singer, songwriter, and TV personality who performs alternative rock and metal music.
He was born in Marine City, Michigan, United States, on May 2, 1975. Jeff began his music career in the early 1990s when he performed as a vocalist with the bands Dry Cell, Acrylic, Band with No Name, and Punch. Jeff appeared in the second season of the reality series The X Factor, but he became famous the following year when he starred in the third season of the series, which featured Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland, Simon Cowell, and Paulina Rubio.
Jeff has since become known as the frontman of the rock band Stine Temple Pilots, and his discography with the group includes the hit singles Plush, Vasoline, Sex Type Thing, Sour Girl, Interstate Love Song, and the albums Perdida, Purple, and Core.
