Jeff Wayne is a composer born on 1st July 1943 in New York, United States. He is known for releasing a musical adaptation of “The Wars of the Worlds” science fiction novel, titled “Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds” in 1978. He is credited for writing more than 3,000 advertising jingles that appeared on TV in the 1970s. Wayne is also widely recognized for composing a number of television themes, including Big Match (ITV), Sixty Minutes (BBC), and others.
His first television series, titled “The Book of Tennis Chronicles,” was broadcasted all over the world in 2005. The series featured popular tennis players and events. In addition, Wayne was a musical director for some of the top artists and wrote the documentary film and feature film scores. He went on tour in 2005, with live shows in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
