Jehnny Beth is a singer and songwriter born on 24th December 1984 in Poitiers, France. She is widely recognized for being one-half of the duo John & Jehn. They formed the duo in 2006 and released two albums. In 2011, she joined the band Savages. They released their first album, “Silence Yourself”, which reached number 19 on the UK album chart. Their second album, “Adore Life”, was released in 2016. The two albums were nominated for the Mercury Prize.
She started her solo career in 2016 and released his first solo album, “To Love is to live”. The album features Joe Talbot, Atticus Ross, and Romy Croft. The album was critically acclaimed, and music videos were released for the singles “Heroine”, “We Will Sin Together”, and “I’m the Man”. She has a YouTube channel, where she uploads music videos, including her concert performance at the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival in London.
