Jennie Garth Bio
Jennie Garth is an American actress born in Urbana, Illinois on April 3, 1972. She is best known for her role as Kelly Taylor in the show Beverly Hills, 90210 and for her role as Valerie Tyler on the show What I Like About You. While in high school, Garth worked with a local acting coach. In 1989 she made her debut on television in the show Growing Pains and continued landing roles in the shows Brand New Life, Teen Angel Returns, Beverly Hills, 90210, Melrose Place, Biker Mice from Mars, The $treet, What I Like About You, 90210, Mystery Girls, The Mick and others. She made her debut in film in 1996 in the movie Power 98 and has since had roles in the films My Brother’s War and Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. Throughout her career she has been nominated for several awards and has won a Young Artists Award and a Prism Award.
