Jennifer Carpenter is an American theater, television and movie actress. She was born on the 7th of December, 1979, in Louisville, Kentucky, U.S. She studied acting at New York City’s Juilliard School and she graduated in 2002. She started her professional career in 2002, when she was casted in the Broadway play “The Crucible” starring Liam Neeson and Laura Linney. In 2005 she performed in “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” which earned her the MTV Movie Award for Best Frightened Performance and the Hollywood Life Breakthrough Award. The next year she starred in the popular television series “Dexter” alongside Michael C. Hall and Julie Benz. In 2008, she starred in the movie “Quarantaine”, a remake of the Spanish movie “REC”. She is also a voice actor, and she has performed in movies like “Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher” and “Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge”.
