Jens Pulver Bio
Jens Pulver, also known as Jens Johnnie Pulver, is a former mixed martial artist from the United States. He was born on December 6, 1974, in Sunnyside, Washington. In addition to participating in the Middleweight, Light Middleweight, and Welterweight classes as a professional boxer, Pulver also participated in the Lightweight, Featherweight, Bantamweight, and Flyweight divisions of mixed martial arts. Pulver has participated in Pride Fighting Championships for the PRIDE 2005 Lightweight Grand Prix, yet he is likely most recognised for his work in the UFC. In the Ultimate Fighting Championship league, the fighter became the inaugural Lightweight Champion. On The Ultimate Fighter 5 on Spike TV, he served as a coach as well. When he first defended his UFC Lightweight Championship against Dennis Hallman in September 2001, the two became rivals.
