Jerry Rice Bio
The professional American football player Jerry Lee Rice was born on October 13, 1962, in Starkville, Mississippi. Since he was young he has been involved in different sports, growing as an athlete, but he started to play football when he was in high school. During his college year, he became a marvelous receiver and he started to be known with the nickname “World”. His talent above football was heard by NFL scouts and in 1985 he participated in the NFL Draft and was recruited by the San Francisco 49ers. He has played in three Super Bowl championships along with the San Francisco 49ers, in the seasons 1988, 1989, and 1994. He played with Oakland Raiders for the 2001 season and with Seattle Seahawks in the 2004 season. He is known as one of the greatest players in NFL history, and that's why in 2010 he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
