Jesse Spencer Bio

Jesse Gordon Spencer is an Australian actor and musician best known for his roles in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, Uptown Girls, House, and Chicago Fire. Spencer was born in Victoria, Melbourne, Australia on February 12, 1979. At age 15 he auditioned for the Australian soap opera Neighbours and landed the role of Billy Kennedy. He went off to appear in numerous television shows and movies, including House, Winning London, Doone, Skum Rocks!, Chicago Fire and several others. He has also appeared in music videos such as “Still Have My Heart” and “Say Goodbye.” Throughout his career he has received several nominations and awards for his work in the industry. In 1998 he was nominated for a Silver Logie Award for Most Popular TV Actor for his role in Neighbours. The next year he was nominated for the same award and won. He has also been nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Breakout Performance – Male in 2005 and a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2008 for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for his role on House and a Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Actor: Action for his role in Chicago Fire.
