The American actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson was born in Missoula, Montana on 22 October 1975. When he was eight years old, he decided to become an actor and joined the Albuquerque Children's Theater. In high school, he played in some theatre acts and worked at Cliff's Amusement Park as a dancer and singer. Right after he finished high school, he started to study in New York City, at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). His first appearance on the TV screen as a co-star was in 2008, with the movie thriller Untraceable. A year after he started to play the role of Mitchel Pritchett on the TV series “Modern Family”. He has been nominated and won five Emmy Awards for his stoning participation as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
