Jessica Knoll is an author born on 7th December 1983 in Pennsylvania, United States. She is best known for her novels “The Favorite Sister” and “Luckiest Girl Alive”, which was made into a Netflix film. Parts of the book have been taken from her real-life experiences as a teenager. One such incident is when she was gang raped by three boys when she was 15. In 2021, Variety named her the screenwriter to watch. The television rights to the film were bought by Bruna Papandrea.
Luckiest Girl Alive featured Finn Wittrock and Mila Kunis. She wrote the screenplay and produced the film herself. Knoll has released other books. These include “American Girl” and “Bright Young Women”. Her books have been published in more than 40 languages. She is also popular on Instagram, where she regularly publishes content.
