Jessica Penne Bio
Jessica Marie Penne is a professional mixed martial artist from the United States. She was born on January 30th, 1983 in the city of Newport Beach, in the state of California. Penne is presently competing for the Ultimate Fighting Championship in the Women's Strawweight class. She competed in her first bout in 2006 against Sally Krumdiack and won by submission. She won the first title for Invicta FC in the atomweight division. Additionally, she was a participant in the very first women's fight that was held in the Bellator Fighting Championships. After defeating Tammy Schneider at Bellator 5, Penne made history by being the first woman to win a bout in the Bellator promotion. She then went on to compete against Michelle Waterson in what was deemed to be the Fight of the Year by the Women's Mixed Martial Arts Awards in 2013. Penne also has a record of 1-0 in shoot boxing, including a victory against Rena Kubota, who has won the S-Cup numerous times.
