Jessica Szohr Bio

Jessica Karen Szohr is an American actress born March 31, 1985. She began her acting career on TV dramas such as My Wife and Kids (2003), Joan of Arcadia (2004), What About Brian (2007), and CSI: Miami (2007). She rose to prominence in 2007 for her role as Vanessa Abrams on The CW's adolescent drama series Gossip Girl (2007–2012). Szohr made her acting debut in an episode of My Wife and Kids in 2003. She also starred in the music videos for Matt White's "Best Days" and Daughtry's "Over You." She had a prominent recurring role as Laura in the ABC dramedy series What About Brian for six episodes in 2007. Szohr won the Breakthrough Actress in Film award for her role in Gossip Girl. In 2010, Szohr was named one of People magazine's "100 Most Beautiful People in the World."
