Jihae Kim is a South Korean actress, musician, and artist who was born on February 7th, 1989 in Seoul, South Korea. She was born and raised in South Korea. Jihae later got her degree in Political Science at the Emory University. Her father was a diplomat and her mother was an opera singer and piano teacher.
As an actress, Jihae is known for appearing in HBO’s Emmy-winning drama Succession Season 3 and also her guest appearance in the 2020 season two debut episode of the Netflix series Altered Carbon. She also starred in Peter Jackson’s Mortal Engines as Anna Fang and also in the television series Mars. Her debut album My Heart Is An Elephant appeared in 2007 featuring Lenny Kravitz on guitar and bass with the filmmaker Michel Gondry on drums. Her fourth LP Illusion of You featured a collaboration with Leonard Cohen and Dave Stewart who co-wrote her song It Just Feels.
