Jim Breuer was born on June 21, 1967 in Valley Stream, New York. He first came to prominence by starring on Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 1998. This led to several guest appearances on the popular sitcom Home Improvement over several years. Over the years he has hosted many shows on Comedy Central including Hardcore (2002) and the third season of Web Junk (2006). Arguably his finest moment came in 2009 when his one-hour special Let’s clear the Air became one of Comedy Central’s highest ranking shows of all time.
A man of many talents as well as comedy, he also had his own radio show Fridays with Jim Breuer where his mix of observational humor and impressions have made him a firm favorite with listeners. In between all of this he has also authored a book I’m Not High (2010) and presented a documentary on heavy metal band Metallica titled When Metallica ruled the world.
