Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on July 16, 1943, Jimmy Johnson is a football coach who has been inducted into the Football Coaches Hall of Fame. In 1965, he started his coaching career at Louisiana Tech University, and the following year, in 1966, he became an assistant coach at Picayune Memorial High School in Picayune, Mississippi. Jimmy was the quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes when they won the NCAA Championship in 1987, and he was also the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys when they won Super Bowls XXVII and XXXIII. After hanging up his cleats, he started a career as a football commentator. Additionally, he documented his life in football in a book titled "Turning the Thing Around: My Life in Football," which he authored. He is one of just six coaches in history to win consecutive Super Bowls, joining the likes of Bill Belichick, Vince Lombardi, and Don Shula on the list of those who have accomplished this feat.
