Jodhi Tania May is an award-winning English actress, director, and writer best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Camden, London, England, on May 8, 1975. She began her acting career in 1988 when she appeared in the film A World Apart, but she became famous in 1992 when she starred in the action-drama film The Last of the Mohicans alongside Daniel Day-Lewis, Madeleine Stowe, Russell Means, and Eric Schweig.
She has since been a regular on the TV series The Witcher, The Gift, Signs and Wonders, Aristocrats, Daniel Deronda, The Amazing Mrs. Pritchard, Emma, and A.D. The Bible Continues. Her filmography includes Defiance, The House of Mirth, A Quiet Passion, and Ginger & Rosa. Throughout her acting career, Jodhi has won multiple awards including a Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress, an Evening Standard British Film Award for Most Promising Actor, Jury Award at the Bentonville Film Festival for Best Ensemble, and a Women Film Critics Circle Award for Women's Work/Best Ensemble.
