Jody Bernal Bio
Jody Bernal is a Colombian-born singer and songwriter who was born on November 12th 1981 in Bogota, Cundinamarca, Colombia. He was adopted by a Dutch family when he was six months old so he grew up in Delft. His musical career started as a member of the boys choir called the Buddy’s.
Jody was gifted a CD that had the Spanish song Que si, que no. The song made an impression on him and he recorded his own version which he performed at the TV program Your Big Break, an RTL 4 talent show presented by Fabienne de Vries. The song was later released as a single and it peaked at #1 in the Dutch and Belgian charts. He participated in another program, the SBS 6 program dancing on the ice, in 2006. He became a weekly crowd favorite and was also offered a contract with Holiday on Ice. Jody also starred as Joe in the musical Fame.
