Joe Johnson is an American professional basketball player, born on June 29, 1981, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He studied high school at Little Rock Central in Arkansas before he was drafted tenth overall by the Boston Celtics in 2001. He played one season with the Boston Celtics before joining the Phoenix Suns, where he stayed for four seasons. Joe has also played for the Atlanta Hawks for seven seasons, Miami Heat for 1 season, and Brooklyn Nets for four seasons. He joined the Utah Jazz in 2016 before transferring to Houston Rockets in 2018. In 2019, he signed to play for the BIG3, founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz. The Arkansas native has also represented the United States national team and helped the USA win the bronze medal in the 2006 FIBA World Championship.
