Joe Keery Bio
Joe Keery is an American actor and musician. He was born on the 24th April, 1992 in Massachusetts, USA. He studied in his younger years at the Theater in the Open, a performing arts camp, and later at the Newburyport High School. Kerry then studied at The Theatre School at DePaul University and graduated in 2014. He appeared in several commercial clips of companies like KFC, Domino’s and many others. He appeared in Empire (2015) and Chicago Fire (2012). His first appearance in a full-length movie was in “Henry-Gamble’s Birthday Party”. In 2015, Keery was cast in the very successful series “Stranger Things” as Steve. Beside his acting career, Keery also performs in the psych-rock band Post Animal. Their debut album was released in October 2015. Their second album, titled “When I Think Of You In A Castle”, was released in 2018 and Keery was on the guitar and vocals. Since 2019, Keery is no longer a touring member of the band.
