Joe Locke is an actor born on 24th September 2003 in Douglas, Isle of Man. He is widely recognized for playing Charlie Spring in the coming-of-age romantic comedy series “Heartstopper” in 2022. He was part of the National Theatre Connections in 2020 and the Gaiety Theatre. It was announced in 2021 that he would appear in “Heartstopper”. He stood out from 10,000 other people who auditioned for the role.
Locke was 17 years old at that time, but he played the role of a 14 – 15 years old student. In 2022, he was nominated for the National Television Award in the category of Rising Star for his work in the series “Heartstopper”. Locke also appeared in the stage play “The Trials” at the Donmar Warehouse in 2022. He is one of the most talented young actors in the Isle of Man at the moment.
