Joe Thomas is an R&B singer born on 5th July 1972 in Columbus, Georgia, United States. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and signed his first recording contract with Polygram Records in 1992. The following year, he released his first album, titled “Everything”. He later signed with Jive Records, where he released a number of studio albums, including “All That I Am” in 1997, “May Name is Joe” in 2000, “Better Days” in 2001, “And Then…” in 2003.
Some of the singles on her albums reached pop and R&B record charts. These include “Don’t Wanna Be a Player”, “Still Not a Player”, “I Wanna Know”, and others. Thomas later left Jive and started releasing his music independently through Plaid Takeover Entertainment. He released his 12th album, titled “My Name is Joe Thomas”, in 2016. The album ranked top 5 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Thomas has been nominated for the Grammy Award seven times.
