Joel David Moore Bio

Joel David Moore is an American actor born on 25th September 1977 in Portland, Oregon. He is widely recognized for his role in Avatar as Norm Spellman. Before joining Hollywood, he appeared in the video “Drug Wars, The High Times” together with Nina Smidt and Gretchen Stouts. He moved to Los Angeles in 2000, where he landed roles in TV commercials for different brands, including eBay, Best Buy, and Cingular Wireless.

He has appeared in many TV shows, including The Guardian, Six Feet Under, Boston Public, Forever, LAX, CSI, etc. His first major role in a film was in “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story” in 2004. David Moore is also known for his appearance in the 2006 comedy “Grandma’s Boy. He co-starred with Robert Englund in the horror film “Hatchet” in 2006 and also appeared in Katy Perry’s music video for “Waking Up in Vegas.”
