Joely Richardson Bio
On January 9, 1965, in England, Joely Richardson, a well-known British actress, was born. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was her place of study for acting. From modest roles in Wetherby (1985) to BBC dramas like Lady Chatterley (1993), to today's 101 Dalmatians, where the Disney studio has gone to the dogs, cinema became her life starting in the 1980s. She appeared in the 2004 movie Nip/Tuck as Julia McNamara, and for that part, she was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2005. Additionally, she co-starred in The Patriot with Mel Gibson. For the film Vampire Academy in 2014, she portrayed Queen Tatiana. Along with Callum Blue, she made an appearance in a The Tudors episode. In The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, she co-starred alongside Rooney Mara as Anita Vagner.
