Joey Purp Bio
Joey Purp, born Joey Davis is an American rapper hailing from Chicago Illinois and is part of the duo Leather Corduroys and is one of the members of Savemoney. With a career began when rapping in high school, the young artist realised his own talent and dropped out of school to pursue a career in rapping.
Heavily utilising social media, Joey Purp became known for his unique sound and dropped his debut mixtape The Purple Tape to acclaim in 2012, following it with the single Don’t stop and Morgan Freeman before dropping his second mixtape iiiDrops, thought to be one of the best rap albums of the year, the album features Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa alongside Joey Purp himself.
