Joey Votto was born in Toronto, Canada ca go on September 10, 1983. He was the second round pick of the Cincinnati Reds in the 2002 MLB Amateur Draft. He currently plays for Cincinnati Reds and serves as the first baseman and wears shirt No. 19. He made his MLB debut on September 2007. Votto played in the All-Star Games six times, from 2010 or 2013, and 2017 to 2018. He also ranked first in the 2010 National League MVP voting. In the same year, he received the NL Hank Aaron Award, and in 2017, he earned the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award. He also bagged a Gold Glove award in 2011. Votto was also the Rookie of the Month for September 2008, and he won five weekly Player of the Week awards.
