Born on the 20th of February 1947 in Garden City, Michigan, John C. Maxwell is a well-known author, lecturer, and preacher in the field of self-help literature in the United States. He was guided spiritually by televangelist Robert H. Schuller, who also served as the pastor of the Crystal Cathedral and the host of the religious show Hour of Power. He is well-known for writing leadership-focused self-help books that have become bestsellers in The New York Times. His books such as "The 5 Levels of Leadership," "The 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork," and "Your Road Map for Success" have been quite successful. Between 1987 and 2012, his works were sold in excess of over twenty million copies. Amazon.com chose him and Tom Clancy as two of its twenty-five writers to be honored into its Tenth Anniversary Hall of Fame for the online retailer.
