John Frederick Dickerson is an American journalist, news anchor, and TV personality best known for his work in television. He was born in Washington, D.C., United States, on July 6, 1968.
John began his career as a show host and TV personality in the mid-2000s, and he has since been a recurring figure on the TV shows CBS News Sunday Morning, CBS Mornings, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, CBS Evening News with Norah O'Donnell, Face the Nation, Political Gabfest, CBS This Morning, Washington Week in Review, and Charlie Rose.
John authored the books The Hardest Job in the World: The American Presidency, Whistlestop: My Favorite Stories from Presidential Campaign History, and On Her Trail: My Mother, Nancy Dickerson.
