John Hodgman, born John Kellogg Hodgman, is an American actor, comedian, and writer who was born in June 3, 1971, in Massachusetts. He’s known for his published written work and for having personified a Mac for Apple’s advertising campaign, titled “Get a Mac ''. He is also known for giving a voice to Charlie Jones and the Other Father in the 2009 film “Coraline”. Hodgman debuted in films in 2008 when he landed the role of the fertility doctor in “Baby Mama”, starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler; he continued to appear in various films, such as “Arthur”, “Pitch Perfect 2” and “Movie 43”. On the television field, however, he got his debut in 2006, when he appeared on “The Daily Show” for one of his book promotions, “The Areas of My Expertise”, and eventually, after returning to the show many times, he was listed as a contributor. He also landed roles in “Blindspot”, “Bored to Death”, and “Married”.
