John Lodge Bio

John Lodge is a musician born on 20th July 1945 in the United Kingdom. He is widely known for being a member of the English rock band Moody Blues. He has also worked with other musicians in his extensive career. He joined the Moody Blues band when Clink Warwick left. His exceptional songwriting skills played a key role in helping the Moody Blues to create hit songs like “Gimme a Little Something”, “House of Four”, “Send Me No Wine”, “Candle of Life”, and others.

In 1975, he collaborated with Justin Hayward on the album “Blue Jays”, which was released under Threshold Records. In 1985, the band won the Ivor Novello Award in the category of Outstanding Contribution to Music. As a solo musical artist, Lodge released the albums “Natural Avenue” in 1977 and “10,000 Light Years Ago” in 2015. He went on tour in 2017 and 2018 to promote his albums.
